We’re hiring Youth Advisors for our…
Youth Advisory Board
About Flic
Flic is an ambitious charity on a mission to share practical, life-changing money guidance with young people like you. We believe money is a language all young people should speak.
We know that young people talk about and experience money in different ways. That’s why building and listening to a diverse group of young voices is crucial in shaping the financial literacy content and workshops we offer to schools, colleges and online communities.
The Youth Advisory Board allows Flic to gain valuable insight directly from young people, ensuring our resources remain relevant, responsive and inclusive.
Our members bring fresh perspectives and bright ideas, helping Flic stay current and better represent the needs of young people in everything we do.
What content will you advise on?
Our youth advisors play an active role in shaping Flic’s content and direction.
Board members will guide and influence the resources across our Learning Hub, including topics such as how to look after your money, getting paid and understanding cryptocurrencies.
Your ideas and feedback help shape our workshops, social media, videos, quizzes, tips and facts. Together, we explore new formats, styles and tone of voice to make sure our content reaches and resonates with more young people.
The board also works on special projects. For example, members have pitched ideas for a Youth Advisory Board takeover of Flic’s social media channels, sparking lively and creative discussions with our content team.
Alongside this, we invite guest speakers to join meetings and share their experiences, giving board members the chance to learn more about campaigning, policy and change-making.
