Rachael Clohesy
Rachael has spent more than 20 years working across charities, education, and media, leading fundraising and development strategies that deliver major grants, build partnerships, and drive systemic change. She has raised money and in-kind support through trusts, foundations, sponsorships, and corporate partners, and has co-founded purpose-led ventures including a youth charity and a social business. Her career includes senior roles in charities with a focus on maternal mental health, economics, education and the arts. Rachael is passionate about reducing inequality, and advocating for those whose voices are seldom heard.
As FLIC’s Head of Development, Rachael will focus on strategy, income diversification, and partnership building, ensuring the organisation has the resources to scale financial education across the UK. She will work with the team to build the evidence base for financial literacy as a national priority.
